Normal working area
Foot traffic, pallet trucks, dust control, warehouse, assembly lines and stores. A standard epoxy floor coating does the job.
Chemical corrosive area
Acids, alkalis, solvents or wet processes. Battery rooms, plating shops and chemical stores. A chemical-resistant system such as Epoguard ADM 301 is the harder wearing option.

Plan the season
Epoxy cures best in moderate, dry weather. Humidity and damp slabs weaken the bond, and extreme heat shortens working time. Plan floor work for the dry months outside the monsoon and avoid peak summer where you can. We will advise on timing at the assessment.

How long before the floor can be used?
The time required depends on the epoxy system, temperature, humidity and site conditions. Full curing may take several days. We confirm the suitable foot and vehicle traffic times based on the selected product and project.
Can epoxy go over an old floor?
Yes, epoxy can be applied over certain existing concrete floors after proper inspection and surface preparation. The substrate must be assessed for cracks, moisture, contamination and existing coating adhesion before work begins.
Can the work be done in the monsoon?
Epoxy flooring installation during the monsoon depends on indoor humidity, slab moisture, ventilation and site conditions. Moisture testing and suitable environmental conditions are important before application. We assess the site to determine the appropriate timing.
